What motivates us

Mission

As part of the Jesuit tradition, and in line with ILADES’ track record, UAH has cultivated its international dimension early on and consistently with like-minded universities, both in the area of student mobility and in terms of global cooperation. From this perspective, DINT promotes, coordinates, manages, and channels academic cooperation and mobility relationships with universities and institutions that share common ideas and projects, preferably those belonging to the network of Jesuit universities.

Vision

Our Directorate aims to progressively consolidate the work of the different units of the UAH at a global level, in terms of mobility programs, cooperation projects, institutional promotion initiatives, and management capacity in the field of international relations, student mobility, and cross-cutting capacity building.

What we do

Coordinate and facilitate academic collaboration with institutions at the international level.
Signing academic collaboration agreements at the national and international level, representing the UAH in cooperation networks belonging to the Society of Jesus and others, managing international projects, channeling the inter-university collaboration needs of the different departments and faculties of the University.
Manage student exchange programs
It allows Chilean students to participate in a mobility program (semester-long) outside the UAH, which allows them to advance in their studies while maintaining their status as regular students. We welcome international students who wish to take semester-long courses at the UAH, internationalizing their studies in our programs.
Design and implement international programs
It allows foreign students to participate in a mobility experience (of varying duration) at Alberto Hurtado University, combining academic, cultural, and social activities, while promoting “internationalization at home.” This area also coordinates activities for foreign exchange students.
