If you are interested in participating in an in-person exchange at Universidad Alberto Hurtado, please consider the following requirements: Active agreement: Your home university must have an active academic exchange agreement with UAH. This agreement allows you to remain a regular student at your home school while studying at UAH. You may validate these courses when you return, according to your university’s internal rules. Spanish proficiency: Classes at UAH are taught in Spanish. Therefore, it is important that you have at least an upper-intermediate or B2 level of Spanish to follow the courses and participate in academic life. Application process: Your university must nominate you to the UAH Exchange Team. Once the nomination is submitted, you will need to complete our application form for international students, which will initiate the process for issuing your official acceptance letter. Migration procedures and planning: Along with your acceptance letter, you will receive information about the migration requirements for entering Chile as a student, as well as other useful details to help you organize your stay in the country. To allow the International Cooperation Office (DCI) at Universidad Alberto Hurtado to process your application, your home university must officially nominate you in our form to the UAH Exchange Team . After being nominated, you must complete the International Student Application Form , where you’ll be asked to upload the following documents: Official transcript of records , issued by your home university. A letter of recommendation from a professor supporting your application. Statement of purpose, explaining your motivation to participate in the exchange program (minimum 500 words). Copy of the passport data page (the page with your photo and personal information). Language certificate or a letter of endorsement from a professor confirming your Spanish proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2). Passport-size photo in grayscale, following the specifications indicated in the application form. UAH liability waiver , available for downlo ad within the application form. The Student Exchange Program at the Alberto Hurtado University (UAH) is an opportunity for foreign university students who wish to immerse themselves in Chilean university life and advance in their field of study.

The UAH, a Chilean Jesuit university located in the center of Santiago de Chile, has stood out in the development of education, social sciences and humanities. The exchange program is designed so that foreign students fully integrate into university life, sharing experiences with Chilean students.
